“Horse” SKU-AN06
Occasionally I’ll have a void on my easel and nothing in my head, (The empty head happens a lot lately) so if I have some empty canvas/board around the studio, I’ll start painting.
This one turned out to be “Horse”. Not any particular horse. Just “Horse”.

Baby Bunch SKU-AN02
Many years ago, when I was young, (That was just shortly before they invented Dirt.) I lived in the back country, and spent a good deal of my time in the woods with a camera. On one of my forays, I ran across a litter of raccoons waiting for mama to return home to feed them. Apparently she had been delayed for quite some time, and the young coons were not happy about it. As a matter of fact that is how I found them in the first place because they were raising quite a commotion, and I heard them before I saw them.Description:This is an acrylic painting on a 16X20 gallery wrapped canvas. Bison breed in the summer. Male bison compete for mating rights, butting heads with other bulls. In these competitions, male bison may also lower their heads, paw at the ground, and emit a bellow which can be heard up to three miles away. This sculpture is called “Buttin’ Heads”, and was completed in late September of 2024.
The overall size is 23 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 12 inches high. It was designed to set on a shelf in your living room or studio, or better yet, on the mantle of your fireplace. It was sculpted using a two-part epoxy, and is coated with three colors of metallic wax. The sculpture is an original work by Robert M Walker, and is one of a kind. Your Friends will be amazed!!!
“Quoth the Raven”
This is an acrylic original on an 8X10 canvas board. Over the years, I have painted a variety of 8X10 original bird pairs. You will find other of these originals scattered throughout this Gallery. Eventually I plan to release prints of these in “Collections” under the name “Birds of the Air”. The Collections that will be available sometime in the future. This is one of the originals. All of these originals will fit a standard 8X10 frame of your choosing.
“Catch of the Day”
The American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is a majestic bird of prey and the national symbol of the United States. Known for its striking white head and tail feathers, the bald eagle is a powerful and skilled hunter, particularly adept at fishing.
Bald eagles have eyesight that is four to eight times sharper than that of humans. This incredible vision allows them to spot fish swimming beneath the water’s surface from great heights.
Bald eagles often hunt by soaring high above water bodies, scanning for fish. Once they spot a target, they dive at high speeds, extending their talons forward to grab the fish just below the water’s surface.
This sculpture is of a Bald Eagle at the moment it snatches a fish from the water.
The piece is the original and sculpted in two-part epoxy, is approximately 16 inches high with a radius of 14 inches, and has a built in turntable so it can be rotated without sliding it on your furnature.
The Healing
The False Face Society is probably the best known of the medicinal societies among the Iroquois, especially for its dramatic wooden masks. The masks are used in healing rituals which invoke the spirit of an old hunch-backed man. Those cured by the society become members. Also, echoing the significance of dreams to the Iroquois, anyone who dreams that they should be a member of the society may join.

Big Horn Sheep SKU-AN05
The bighorn sheep is a species of sheep native to North America. It is named for its large horns. A pair of horns might weigh up to 30 pounds, and the sheep typically weigh up to 315 lbs. The sheep originally crossed into North America over the Bering Land Bridge from Siberia. The population in North America peaks in the millions, and the bighorn sheep entered into the mythology of Native Americans.
The Sheep Eaters (named after their staple diet), or “Tukudeka”, lived high in mountain fastnesses favored also by the bighorn sheep they ate. They were a branch of the Shoshone. Both Indians and sheep found a precarious niche in rugged mountain country at higher altitudes.

“To the Victor Go the Sorrels”
Each herd typically has a dominant stallion referred to as the “herd stallion” and a few other less dominant stallions. Interestingly, each herd is led not by the dominant stallion but by a dominant mare. This is similar to the way we humans do things.
